Goal:
Convene a group of local early childhood financing experts to use the cost modeling recommendations from the Human Services Policy Center (October 2007) as well as other information to estimate the cost of a comprehensive child care and early education system in Boulder County and to recommend sustainable financing strategies.

Membership:
A group of local finance experts from Boulder County as well as from Colorado are being identified to serve on the Finance Task Force.  These individuals have expertise in:  child care and early education costs, local economic conditions and future projections, state economic conditions and forecasts, as well as financing strategies.

Proposed timeline:
It is anticipated that the Finance Task Force will begin meeting Summer 2009.
