Goal: 
Convene a task force to provide guidance and input into the development of the final comprehensive early childhood system plan for Boulder County; in particular to recommend policy and financing strategies that will facilitate the implementation of the proposed early childhood system. Members of this committee will participate in leadership roles in the community visioning process in which the proposed early childhood system plan is released to the community for dialogue and feedback.

Membership:
A group of business leaders, elected officials, policy makers and other community leaders are being identified who have expertise in:  current local concerns and issues in Boulder County as well as knowledge of local policies which impact the provision of child care and early education programs and services within Boulder County. 

Proposed timeline: 
It is anticipated that the Leadership Committee will begin their meetings in late 2009.
