Early childhood systems building efforts are gaining momentum nationwide as more and more legislators, policymakers and the general public come to the realization that the earlier in a child's life that attention is paid to early literacy, cognition, language development, physical well-being and motor development, social and emotional development, parent engagement, the fewer public and private resources are required later on in a child's life.
